Green Home Design Overview

Ever wonder what makes a home green, and how you can make yours more resource and energy efficient, less toxic and more comfortable, while reducing its impact on our planet?

Come to this first annual seminar on Thur. 3/6 from 7-9 pm at Studio 911 in Seattle.

We will cover structural and finish materials, and building systems that are strong, beautiful, cost effective, and environmentally sensitive. Green doesn’t have to be a sacrifice in performance or value. The instructor has been designing green remodels and new homes for 20 years in the Northwest, and is a co-founder of the NW Eco-Building Guild and past-president of the Solar Washington Association. He has been teaching classes and speaking nationally for many years. Specific examples and samples will abound, and no experience is necessary. Seminar will be recorded for future educational DVD production.
